Catherine Muldoon is an iconic blend of brains and beauty, as she currently holds two degrees of higher education. She obtained her first in 2007 with a Bachelors of Arts degree from New York University. More recently in 2011, she was awarded a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Ivy League University of Pennsylvania. Presently, Catherine works as a Cosmetic Dentist at Konikoff Dentistry in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
Catherine has worked with Operation Smile, an international organization that provides surgeries to repair cleft lip, cleft palate, and other facial deformities for underprivileged children around the world. She has also graciously lent her time and skill participating in humanitarian dental missions to both Nicaragua and Costa Rica where she was able to deliver dental treatment to those in need as well as practice her Spanish.
Utilizing her strong background in the healthcare field coupled with personal life experiences, she also seeks to support Susan G. Komen for the Cure by dispersing knowledge and building unity amongst women worldwide. During her reign, Catherine plans to devote her time, energy and skills to not only increase awareness of organizations such as these, but also to produce results that are tangible, meaningful, and everlasting.
While Catherine is not treating patients or striving to improve her community, she enjoys playing water sports, socializing with both new and old friends, and spending time with her Maltese, Winnie. She is fascinated by different cultures and is always looking for someone new to meet and learn from. Catherine lives her life deliberately and has found success by employing this simple motto: “You can achieve anything as long as you are willing to work for it.”
