Welcome to our new web site!

As I reflect back over the past year, I am reminded of what a tremendously wonderful opportunity I have each year to impact the lives of young women in a positive manner through the MISS VIRGINIA USA® and MISS VIRGINIA TEEN USA® program. I am thankful for this opportunity, and I can hardly believe on October 14th of 2007 my 14th pair of winners was named. The pageant production was the best yet and it was shown live on TV for the first time!

Virginia is my home state and being our state’s Executive Director for the Miss Universe Organization is truly an honor and I am thankful each year for the opportunity to continue to make a difference as Executive Director for the MISS VIRGINIA USA® and MISS VIRGINIA TEEN USA® State Pageant.

It takes work and many hours of dedication to produce our state finals, and in the end I look back and smile broadly with satisfaction, pride, and gratitude that we have one of the very best productions in the MISS USA® System, and I thank my amazing team for creating the experience of a lifetime for our contestants.

If you are new to our system or a seasoned veteran, I invite you to become a part of our MISS VIRGINIA USA Family. As we go forward, we will not only be working to prepare our titleholders for MISS USA® and MISS TEEN USA®, we will be finalizing our location for our 2009 Pageant which will take place in the fall of 2008. Until then, make plans to watch MISS USA® 2008 live on NBC this coming April.
