MISS VIRGINIA TEEN USA® 2007 is Emily Bruce of Lynchburg and is the daughter of John and Meg Bruce. She won the state competition held this past Friday and Saturday in Chrysler Hall, downtown Norfolk. Emily was victorious in tough field of 30 contestants and will compete at the televised 2007 MISS TEEN USA®.

1st Runner Up was Jeri Yarber of Meadowview, 2nd Runner Up was Elle Bunn of Virginia Beach, 3rd Runner Up was Courtney Gallimore of Abingdon, and 4th Runner Up was Elizabeth Robinette of Big Stone Gap.

Emily is a junior at E.C. Glass High School and is planning to attend Virginia Tech and wants to major in Communications and pursue a career as a TV host. Emily's has studied and been dancing most of her life and also enjoys reading, jetsking, and modeling.

As the newly crowned MISS VIRGINIA TEEN USA®, Emily will represent our entire state at the nationally televised MISS TEEN USA® next August. Until then, she will be traveling across the state making appearances, and speaking on her personal platform as well as the national platform of drug abuse awareness and prevention.
